To me, purchasing a piece of clothing from a vintage shop is very rewarding. I find a lot of vintage pieces I own are always somehow on trend. For example, the striped pants I purchased nearly two years ago from Oona’s located in Harvard Square Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Oona’s has easily become one of my favorite places so shop for vintage pieces. Unlike New York, Boston lacks a little in the vintage department.
Anyway, I’ve had these pants for quite some time and actually had to have them hemmed because I am quite petite. Do they look like pajama bottoms? Maybe a little, but honestly these striped pants are unsurprisingly on trend. They have a super relaxed fit but aren’t baggy on my body.
Now let’s get into the other details. This look is probably one of the most comfortable I have put together. This outfit is a good balance of comfortable and chic. The top I’m wearing is a knitted loose tank and it’s from Brandly Melville. I was lucky to find it because the color of the top matches the striped in my pants, which pleases me. I’m wearing my favorite sandal I purchased from ASOS of course and I’m wearing a pair of sunglasses I purchased from LitBoutique on Newbury Street in Boston.
For those of you who are interested, you can find similar looks to mine at TopShop and ASOS. Though I highly recommend finding your local vintage/thrift/consignment store and going on a hunt, it’ll only make you feel more inspired and who knows what else you might discover!

I love those trousers! They are not like PJ pants at all and it’s so nice to have some comfy go to pieces. Thrift shopping or Charity shop shopping as we call in the UK is one of favourite places to find hidden gems 🙂
