Jewel Tone Style: Emerald

Welcome to the second look in the Jewel Tone Style Series!

E M E R A L D.

I had the easiest time styling this outfit. The dress I’m wearing was the centerpiece of the look. I’ve had this dress for a few years and was super excited to finally style it differently than I usually would wear it.

At first, I envisioned myself wearing the dress, with green tights, and a big green faux fur coat. But I had to scrap the faux fur idea because I honestly couldn’t find one that wasn’t $300!!

AND I NEEDED A COAT. The dress was too dull to just wear on its own, for this series at least, and I was lucky enough to find the beaded jacket at Oona’s in Harvard Square! I believe the jacket is from the 1940s (??) and it’s actually part of a two-piece set. The black bag I’m holding in some of the photos is also from Oona’s!

Both items are still available at the shop, so if you wanna go check it out and snag it definitely visit Oona’s in Harvard Square!

Here are the links to Oona’s website and Instagram!

Outfit Details: beaded jacket, Oona’s (still available); dress, Topshop; shoes, Topshop (similar); tights, Amazon; vintage bag, Oona’s (still available!); earrings, Shake The Tree Boston.
