Happy Friday Everyone! This is the last and final look in the Jewel Tone Style Series: RUBY! Red is my favorite color, and I am so excited to share this outfit. I have wanted to put together a red look for SO LONG but always had a difficult time with shades/tones of certain fabrics not matching up and looking weird. BUT I FINALLY GOT IT, FRIENDS!
I styled this look around the shoes I’m wearing. They’re just simple yet beautiful red pointed toe heels. For my all red outfit, I originally wanted to wear a sweater with either some pants or a skirt. I found a photo of Solange Knowles on Pinterest and tried to recreate her look, but it didn’t work out. I’ll link the picture of the outfit here!
I had purchased my Man Repeller t-shirt back in March. When I went to New York with some girlfriends for a weekend and happened to stop by the Canal Street Market and saw their cute popup shop set up and fell in love with this shirt.
Funny story about the red pleather jacket I have in this photo. I think I got it in high school and thought I gave it away — BUT my sister actually kept it and THANK GOD SHE DID BECAUSE OMG I WAS COLD DURING THIS SHOOT BUT IT ALSO REALLY TIES THIS OUTFIT TOGETHER (I’m yelling because I’m excited).
All red can be tough, but this outfit actually makes me feel powerful and I think everyone should try to create an all red look.

So, this is actually my last post until next year (HAHA — EYEROLL). I just want to briefly mention, I took a hiatus from blogging towards the end of 2016 and most of 2017. I started up again this past September because I felt better about the direction I’d like to take my blog and posts. Also, I’m trying to be better about not getting bogged down about blog numbers and stats (which contributed to my hiatus). I am back (obviously) and I’m looking forward to creating and collaborating more in 2018!
I’m always looking for feedback and to improve myself, let me know if you liked this style series and if you want to see more like it or if you’d like me to cover any topics. Again, I have a personal list but I want to engage more with people who actually read and follow my blog.
Have a happy and safe New Year! This lil lady will be staying in and keeping WARM.
xoxo Aline Chaprazian
